Trump tells supporters it'll be 'your fault' if he gets impeached

Source: CNN

By Kate Sullivan, CNN 1 hr ago

President Donald Trump told supporters Thursday that if he is impeached "it's your fault 'cause you didn't go out to vote."

"You didn't go out to vote -- that's the only way it could happen," Trump said during a rally in Billings, Montana.

"I'll be the only President in history they'll say: 'What a job he's done! By the way, we're impeaching him,' " Trump said.

"This election, you aren't just voting for a candidate, you are voting for which party controls Congress," the President said. "Very important thing. Very important thing."

It's their fault that he wormed his way into White House in the first place - something that could have only turned out they way it did.

Watch that section of the speech - it is completely incoherent.

"If the opposite party becomes president every time before it even starts before you even found out whether or not he or she is going to do a great job they'll say we want to impeach em and you'll impeach em it's so ridiculous but we'll worry about that if it ever happens, but if it does happen, it's your fault because you didn't go out to vote. Ok? You didn't go out to vote. That's the only way it could happen."

It seems like the thing that could happen that he is referring to is the opposite party becoming president.

Also, it is basically just a big rambling nonsensical mess.

The exact opposite needs to be stressed to those who are not in tRUMP'S core base. The rest of us normal people need to hear someone saying "Look....if you don't vote, we don't get to impeach this guy!"

While i agree that this is not exactly what he said (as Oberliner said, it was a word salad), a speech to a couple thousand people who were going to vote for his benefit anyway, is tilting at windmills.

I find statements like this from Trump very telling. He's clearly very worried about being impeached.
