Audio Offers Gruesome Details of Jamal Khashoggi Killing, Turkish Official Says

Source: New York Times

His killers were waiting when Jamal Khashoggi walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul two weeks ago. They severed his fingers and later beheaded and dismembered him, according to details from audio recordings described by a senior Turkish official on Wednesday.

Mr. Khashoggi was dead within minutes, and within two hours the killers were gone, the recordings suggested.

...snip...

After he was shown into the office of the Saudi consul, Mohammad al-Otaibi, the agents seized Mr. Khashoggi almost immediately and began to beat and torture him, eventually cutting off his fingers, the senior Turkish official said.

“Do this outside. You will put me in trouble,” Mr. al-Otaibi, the consul, told them, according to the Turkish official and a report in the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, both citing audio recordings said to have been obtained by Turkish intelligence.

Um, if he was "dead within minutes", it doesn't really sound like an interrogation took place.

this story will cost the Republicans tons of Seats, both state and Nationally. Notice someone posted a story about the Rethugs calling for a investigation to stop the bleeding.

No matter what they try do do to stop the bleeding, trump will still be defending the Saudi's no matter what, and that will only hurt them more, unless of course they actually stand up to trump, to his face, and that's not very likely.

reference to your true statement. The Saudi's have the Trump Crime Syndicate by the short ones, and no matter how Trump tries to deny any links, the evidence has been shown and he will continue to lie. As far as this being a issue with rank and file voters, those who read and listen to something other than Fax Noise, they will make the Rethugs pay dearly.

Apparently, the a fore mention topic is causing Mitch McConnell to create a diversion about everything else .

THEY CHOPPED OFF HIS FUCKING FINGERS WHILE HE WAS STILL ALIVE

AND TRUMP IS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN THE COVER-UP AS NOT TO JEOPARDIZE HIS PERSONAL BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS

WHEN DOES THE FUCKING IMPEACHMENT START?

that the CIA and NSA know everything and have for a few weeks by now and have told the fake prez. That is how it works. Of course he knows, he most likely knew before it happened since Jared gave his best bro pal Bin Salman a list "enemies" a while ago and the journalist was considered an enemy. Brennan said that the intelligence committees in both chambers CAN ask the CIA and NSA to tell them what happened. The House will not do it but the Senate committee has bipartisan input and can and should ask for the full info. That is how it will come out to the public eventually.

how they knew what they knew. My obvious guess is that the Turks have the Saudi Counsel office bugged and hidden cameras planted inside that the Saudis didn't know about. They'll probably burn the place down now.

Severed fingers? No fingerprints.

This is HORRIBLE!!!! I hope death was swift - I can't imagine the mental torture of being alive WHILE they're doing this to you.

OMG - that poor man. I hope death came quickly.

I wonder when they injected him with stuff that made him become quiet...was it the injection that silenced him but he was still conscious and aware and able to see and feel the pain. I imagine the screams were from the fingers being cut off (a writer/journalist=symbolic). If Jared gave the Saudis a list of "enemies" and his name was on it the Jared must go to prison for murder too.

How else would somebody in that circle NOT think about summoning the forensic specialist to be in attendance? Especially if, as the reports suggest, the Saudi "delegation" was outta there "within two hours"? Sounds like they knew what they were doing, that they had some experience in this type of "operation". So you probably would never find "a body" anyway. Certainly not an intact one. There'd have to be some sort of evidence to present - to make any kind of decent or presentable case from this. Sounds like these sketchy dudes were on a mission and left no trace. As far as we know, that is.

Let me also add that I am no certified expert on these things. Just a guess on my part. But it's how this looks.
