Poll: Wardlow moves ahead of Ellison in MN attorney general race

Republican Doug Wardlow is leading Democrat Keith Ellison by 7 points in the race for attorney general, according to the latest MPR News/Star Tribune Minnesota Poll a significant reversal from the last round of polling in mid-September.
Of 800 likely voters polled last week, 43 percent said they preferred Wardlow, an attorney and one-time state legislator, while 36 percent said they support Ellison, who has served the 5th District in Congress for the last 12 years; 16 percent said they were undecided in the race, a 2-point drop from the earlier poll.
In September, Ellison held a 5-point lead over Wardlow.

(115,719 posts)He says he's going to fire all the assistant AGs in the office who are Democrats, and he works for a right-wing organization that, among other things, was trying to prevent transgender school children from using bathrooms corresponding to their gender identification. The organization has been identified by the SPLC as a hate group.
Minnesota people, if you can, please send a few bucks to Keith Ellison.

(160,542 posts)It was truly dirty for the right-wing to drag out his former wife and coax her, maybe bribe her, maybe coerce her into being their secret weapon against Congressman Ellison at EXACTLY the propitious time to leave the freshest memory with Minn. voters as they head to the polls before the story is clarified.
