Trump knocks Dodgers' pitching change: 'Big mistake!'

Source: The Hill

BY AVERY ANAPOL - 10/28/18 07:33 AM EDT

President Trump late Saturday night fired off a tweet commenting on World Series Game 4, saying it was a "big mistake" for the Los Angeles Dodgers to pull pitcher Rich Hill.

Social media users criticized the timing of Trump’s tweet, which came hours after at least 11 people were killed in a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

“I think you meant to say: I am having a real difficult time sleeping tonight,” wrote one user.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), a frequent critic of Trump, tweeted: “Is tonight when [Trump] became our President? Or was it when he said ‘there are some very fine people on both sides’ at the white nationalist mob event in Charlottesville?”

Trump would have criticized THAT decision.

And BTW, 11 Jews died less than 12 hours before the game by way of assassination. Doesn't have Trump have higher priorities than being a wannabe baseball manager?

He would have been the guy that could never get over a low hurdle let alone the obstacle course..
Could you see him going up the rope climb wall..? The drill Sgt. would have been screaming at him all the time.

you rarely let the starter go 9 innings. He might be needed in Game 5,6 or 7. You trust your bullpen to get the job done.

There are certain accepted ways of doing things, no matter how much sense they don't make to an airhead. In hockey, for example. You're into triple overtime. All the players are tired. Tired players make mistakes that cost games. The only two rested players in the building are the backup goalies. Yet the starters are never pulled for fatigue. It would be bad karma, almost start second guessing before the game was decided.

The odds you will give up runs increases after so many pitches. How well you did in past innings isn’t what matters. How well you are likely to do now is what matters. The late great Amos Tversky, so fucking smart they gave his partner Daniel Kahneman the Nobel prize after Amos died, taught us that people falsely believe trends are very likely to continue. In reality a lot of streaks are just accidental. The coin comes up heads ten times in a row does not mean eleven is likely. That’s Donald Chumps error here.

the World Series.

Obama used to have an entire show on ESPN called "Barakatology" where he would pick a bracket for NCAA March Madness. It was kind of a huge deal, and people used to go around saying they beat Obama's bracket or got their asses kicked.

There are plenty of other things to pissed off about, and focusing on this while we're trying to get independents to vote for us doesn't look good IMO.
