The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette put the opening words of the Kaddish, a traditional Jewish mourners' prayer, on the front page of its newspaper on Friday to honor the victims of the synagogue shooting.
Magnified and sanctified by Your name, the headline reads in Hebrew.

Friday evening marks the first Shabbat service since a gunman opened fire inside the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburghs Squirrel Hill neighborhood last weekend, killing 11 people and injuring several others.
Robert Bowers, the suspected shooter, pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday. He has been indicted on 44 federal counts related to the attack, including hate crime charges. The attack is believed to be the deadliest attack against Jewish people in U.S. history, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

(7,142 posts)If I remember correctly, the Post Gazette didn't give an official endorsement for president but it did give a checklist to voting which leaned to Trump. I'm trying to say that the PG gave an unofficial endorsement to Donald Trump.
You reap what you sow PG, you helped elect Donald Trump, IMO.

Blessed be Gods great name to all eternity.
Blessed, praised, honored, exalted, extolled, glorified, adored, and lauded be the name of the Holy Blessed One, beyond all earthly words and songs of blessing, praise, and comfort. To which we say: Amen.
May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and all Israel. To which we say: Amen.
May the One who creates harmony on high, bring peace to us and to all Israel. To which we say: Amen.
