Kevin Crawford of Bozeman and Curtis Roe of Belgrade decided to protest President Donald Trump's visit Saturday to the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in grass.
The pair mowed "FU45" on Roe's land under the landing approach Air Force One would make.
The result was lettering 60 feet tall and 150 feet across.
Crawford said that seemed like a better approach than protesting at the campaign rally because "his wingnut base loves nothing more than to think they are pissing off a bunch of liberals who are protesting."

(161,491 posts)Very brave, important people to put themselves at such risk on behalf of the humans, and all life forms in this country/continent/hemisphere/planet.
There can be no end to what our babbling, lying sociopath would do to harm anyone who makes him mad enough, not until someone takes control of the Homeland Security people, police and military away from him.

The paper says we had about 80 people protesting but they are way off. There were four different groups around the airport as well as groups of people parked up and down frontage road. Parking was combined with trumpers and protesters. Being right on the corner of Frontage Rd and the parking turn off we could not be avoided and because of our placement we got a lot of heckling of one particular comment of "move to Venezuela".
I took a walk around the parking lots and there were so many cars from out of state. Idaho, Wyoming, both Dakotas, a Utah and a few others.
I also noticed that lots ( a couple hundred, give or take a dozen) trumpers left about the time he started speaking and that made absolutely no sense to wait in line for hours and then leave. I wonder if they were just paid to make the line look bigger than it was?

(161,491 posts)They were paid to make their appearance for the photo ops.
He has mentioned publicly the "fake media" never shows the audiences when he is speaking, as they don't want to admit how big they are.
I'm still enjoying learning he was bouncing off the walls with rage when he heard how large President Obama's audiences were only a couple of days ago!
