President Trump will meet with congressional Democratic leadership next week days ahead of a deadline to prevent a partial government shutdown.

Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) are expected to meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday, according to a source familiar.

The topic of the meeting isn't set but will likely include how to meet a Dec. 7 deadline to fund key parts of the government, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), amid an entrenched fight over Trump's U.S.-Mexico border wall.

Congress missed the Sept. 30 deadline, the end of the 2018 fiscal year, for seven of the 12 individual appropriations bills, kicking the fight until early December. Trump met last month with both Senate and House GOP leadership to discuss the year-end agenda, including government funding.

3. I hope they know this is just for show.

Anything he agrees to will be a lie, just like what happened last year. He has no center, so can be pushed to agree with others, but as soon as they leave, Miller comes by and tells him how terrible the deal is and tiny withdraws his support. Don't know why they waste their time, he's a total liar and a coward and nothing at all significant will happen except he'll later slam them and send us into a shutdown to punish us for voting Dem in the mid-terms. All he cares about is hate for non-fluffers and his own enrichment, well that and pleasing PUtin because that's part of his own enrichment (and peril, but don't think he's smart enough to have figured that part out yet).

Truth is, Mike Flynn was doing a uranium deal with the Saudis, with nuclear tech and uranium coming from Iran and Russia.
