Marco Rubio Rips Syria Withdrawal: A 'Colossal Mistake' That Will 'Haunt This Administration'

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is among the conservatives slamming the Trump Administration’s announcement that the U.S. is about to pull out of Syria.

Following President Donald Trump‘s claim that ISIS has been defeated in Syria, the White House says the military is taking quick action to withdraw 2,000 American service members from the region. Not everyone is convinced this is a good idea, however, and Rubio is among those who believe the pullout is a “colossal mistake” and a “grave error.”

The Florida Senator added, on Twitter, that he believes the move is a “major blunder” which will “haunt” the Trump administration.

Second, t-rump is just following orders from Putin. Thirdly, I don't think Syria is a friend of Israel.

I don't really see any compelling reason why we should have troops in Syria.
