Russians tried to hack the DNC days after the midterms, Democrats claim
Source: CNN
The Democratic National Committee claims that in the days after the 2018 midterm elections it was likely targeted by a group of Russian intelligence hackers, according to court documents filed overnight. Dozens of DNC email addresses were targeted in a spear-phising campaign on November 14, 2018, the DNC alleges, adding that the contents and timing of the emails suggest that the campaign was tied to the Russian hacking group known as "Cozy Bear." The DNC adds, "it is probable that Russian intelligence again attempted to unlawfully infiltrate DNC computers in November 2018." The Democrats said there is no indication in the court filing that November's alleged hacking attempt was successful. 1. Of course they did...
Red Don has seen to it they have been nothing, but, rewarded for their efforts so far. So, why should they have any fear of negative repercussions for continuing their acts of
cyber war. It would be nice if instead of using, Russian or Russia, in these articles they would be more specific to the Kremlin or Putin. That way, Tangerine Idi Amin can't hide behind, "I don't work for Russia" and instead he has to say, "I work for the Kremlin." I'm sure there's a distinction is his petty little mind like a two-year old being specific about where he stole cookies. |

9. I wish they'd use "the Republican administration" rather than simply "Trump"
First the MSM coddled and softpeddled him to the masses, (while demonizing Hillary for....gasp...using the wrong email server)
Now...they are working hard to isolate him from his party. Making him out to be more and more like an independent actor, a free radical. Its almost as if Trump did not belong to any party. Meanwhile McConnell is passing legislation that Trump AND Republicans love...giving themselves more money. |

4. What would this be in aid of post-election?
Did they want the raw data of voters by precincts or something? Would that be so they could come up with some algorithms to tweak results to benefit Putin's sock puppet in 2020?

5. I'll bet they try all the time - they're probably trying right now
The DNC must maintain the tightest security on their network. Phishing emails are only the tip of the iceberg, because there are so many other ways they can hack in. Paranoia at all times!
