A federal judge has placed a gag order on longtime Donald Trump associate Roger Stone and attorneys involved in his criminal case.

"Counsel for the parties and the witnesses must refrain from making statements to the media or in public settings that pose a substantial likelihood of material prejudice to this case," Judge Amy Berman Jackson wrote.

They are also not allowed to speak in and around the courthouse.

I've heard analysis that it might just be statements made outside of court, but that it can be expanded.

Who knows?

My guess is that some how Stone ends up with his bail revoked at some point before trial and rots away in jail, a la Manafort. He can't stand to be out of the spotlight.

I think he is counting on, and may have even already been given assurances of, a full Presidential pardon. Just like Manafort. So I predict he'll have no qualms about breaking this order, and doing it in the most spectacularly ugly and arrogant way.
