In an interview on CNN, Schiff rejected Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burrs statements from earlier this month, in which Burr said evidence shows no collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia.
Chairman Burr must have a different word for it, Schiff told host Dana Bash on State of the Union, pointing to communications between Russia and Donald Trump Jr. and former Trump aides George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn.
You can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion, pretty compelling evidence, Schiff said, adding, There is a difference between seeing evidence of collusion and being able to prove a criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt.
Schiff said special counsel Robert Muellers report on potential Russian government meddling in the 2016 election might not be the final word on the matter.

Trump's firewall is all those republican senators who took Russian money too.
It's just so hard for intelligent minds to endure. And by intelligent I mean forward thinking individuals with an IQ that can be found on the positive side on a number line.

Democrats would probably be in the front of the line to throw the first stones. I'm not saying they'd be wrong in not doing that, standing up for principles, but its so glaring.
Republicans are the complete opposite. They circle the wagon no matter the cost politically, or even their own self worth.

(42,409 posts)The House is now blue, but the Senate is going to be very tough to convince. Somehow Schiff has to convince a couple/three GOP Senators to go against their party and against Chump. I believe it will eventually happen but we're not there yet. Schiff knows the score and he's working very hard. He can go on the news shows and say things that Robert Mueller has avoided saying. Schiff and Mueller don't work together, but in some ways they do work in tandem.
