Breaking: White House currently under lockdown. Secret Service says, "Uniformed Division officers are investigating an unattended package in the vicinity of Pennsylvania Avenue. Out of an abundance of caution Penn. Ave. from 15th to 17th street is temporarily shut down."

And before current occupants showed up. My wife and I spent most of the day just sitting outside the WH in Lafayette Park. The Capital is a beautiful building, but the White House stirs more emotion in me. We just need to evict the current occupant.

And, you're right. It's a beautiful place that stirs a lot of emotion in me, as well. I'ma history FIEND (well past the nut stage) so, when I look at the building, its history isn't lost on me at all.
