Sarah Palin complained that not being invited to Sen. John McCains funeral felt like a gut punch.
The former half-term governor of Alaska told Good Morning Britain that she was hurt and embarrassed after her former running mates family did not ask her to attend the funeral, reported the Daily Mail.
I was kind of surprised to be publicly disinvited to the funeral, Palin said. They didnt have to embarrass me and others, it wasnt just me it was other people from our campaign back in 2008. Its kind of a gut punch.
Palin has been blamed for McCains 2008 presidential loss to Barack Obama, but she said she was a convenient scapegoat for Republican operatives who pushed for her to join the ticket.

They're both trash. One is rich trash, and the other is not-rich trash (Palin's family of grifters is broke, I think).

(4,341 posts)She can embarrass herself without anyone's help. She is protecting that right to look like a fool whenever she appears and she wants to do it all by herself.
She still doesn't understand that she represents McCain's lowest point of his life, that she was an embarrassment during the campaign, plus if the family didn't want to invite her, that is their prerogative.

(13,291 posts)He just didn't say he wanted her there. She could have crashed the funeral, like Ivanka and Jared did (it's thought that Lindsay Graham extended the invitation, which he had no right to do), but that would be tacky, and we all know how classy Caribou Barbie is.
Go away, Sarah. Your 15 minutes of fame are up. Go home to your white trash family in Wasilla, sit on your porch and look at Russia in the distance.

Considering who you are, who your family members are, and what you've had to say, I'd say you should be very used to being embarrassed. Now go the fuck away.

(34,195 posts)No. You did it all by yourself.
You may recall that in her debate with Joe Biden, she asked "Can I call you Joe?"
That's because in the GOP rehearsals for the V.P. debate, she kept referring to him as 'McBiden'.
V.P. McBiden?
Joe McBiden?
