‘You better stop now!’: April Ryan slams ex-Republican governor for suggesting the White House yank her press credentials

DOMINIQUE JACKSON

On Friday, veteran reporter April Ryan fired back at Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) after he suggested that the White House revoke her press credentials.

Ryan called for White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders to resign after the special counsel Robert Mueller’s report revealed that she lied to reporters.

Ryan explained that lying was dangerous and has consequences. She warned Huckabee about threatening her and other reporters.

“As I thank God for this day and for his sacrifice, as you should be doing, I have a warning for you! If anything happens to me or mine or anyone connected to me, you and your daughter and this administration will be held accountable! So you better stop now!” she tweeted.

Not only did SHS lie on camera, she then lied about lying while being questioned by federal investigators.

She should be charged but then it's OK if you're Republican.

3. Ryan's statement w more context:

Apr 2019
"Not only does she not have credibility, she lied. She out an out lied. And the people - the American people, can't trust her. They can't trust what's said from the president's mouthpiece spokesperson from the people's house. Therefore she should be let go, she should be fired, end of story.

When there is a lack of credibility there, you have to start n start lopping the heads off, uh , it's fire me Thursday or fire me Friday, she needs to go."

She was on CNN and went off on SHS. Don't watch FoxNews, but I've never seen a news reporter with such an angry rant. Essentially she said that because of SHS' (and Trump's) attacks on the media, she has had to hire personal security to keep her and her family safe. I'm sure she's not the only one, but she's the first I think I've heard make that fact public.

cooking squirrels, and more time teaching his children to be honest. He also has a son who skins dogs - ALIVE, after torturing them. So, "family values" were not high on the list at the Huckerbee household. For a man of the cloth, ol' Mike has not been much of a role model, has he?

that he called for April Ryan to be "gutted like a deer" some years back. He never apologized for that nor did he retract it.

Remember people, the christian right is neither.

The part about providing the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God. It must be convenient indeed that a "Christian" such as SHS gets a pass from the Almighty whenever the truth does not serve the corrupt interests of her Dear Leader.

The "Almighty" allows anything--anything at all--in service of Donald Trump (aka God's Chosen). And that's perfectly fine with them.

And there’s nothing after it that says....except when... it’s rather a rather clear admonition. That drives bible thumpers nuts when you remind them of that simple fact.

Even if it’s one day, the mainstream media representatives could simply refuse to attend Sarah Sanders’ official lying sessions and make the news that day about the Mueller report saying that Sarah admitted to lying and is continuing to do it so they know they are not getting accurate news from her and see no reason to help spread Trump’s lies by reporting them.

Of course, Fox News and other right-wing media would attend but the numbers would be much smaller. One person should be designated to attend and film the small audience to share with everyone so the film could be used in the “news” stories of not covering White House lying. And post the video in the Comments section of a Fox News story.

then they wouldn't have to lie.
I'd rather see Sanders make a statement and then have one (or several) of the reporters say "But Sarah, how can we possibly believe that what you have just said is the truth?"

And do that EVERY F'ING TIME!

She has a very gentle demeanor. If her response to a situation was that forceful, then there has to be a very good reason.
