Arnold Schwarzenegger drop-kicked at South Africa event

Source: BBC

The 71-year-old former California governor was interacting with fans during a skipping competition at his Arnold Classic Africa sporting event when a man drop-kicked him from behind.

The attacker is seen being restrained following the incident.

Schwarzenegger thanked fans on Twitter for their concern, but insisted there was "nothing to worry about".

The video footage, shared widely on social media, shows Schwarzenegger posing for photos and filming at the Johannesburg event on Saturday when the man attacks him with a flying kick.

Whatever could be said against him, this was way out of bounds.

Besides which, he was a very decent governor for a Republican.

The fact that the Shrub used to go out of his way to avoid him whenever he came around to Brentwood to fundraise, is but one indication of that.

It's rare to see any political types talking about it, least of all Republicans.

And he has absolutely no love for Trump. And why would he? Arnold is an immigrant who, unlike Trump, is truly a self-made millionaire.

When I lived in L.A. at the time, I remember people, who knew certain people, saying that he had skeletons in his closet, and that Bush and his thugs were using that against him to keep him in line.

Who knows - and frankly who cares!

I'm not a fan of his politics, or him for that matter. But that was uncalled for and undeserved.

But he wouldn't have been able to get up from a kick like that. (As for that matter the assailant probably wouldn't either after my family got through with him).

Seriously, this isn't how we act. If he has a problem, face him with it. Don't run up from behind and assault him. Go to jail where you belong, asshole.

He jumped up and kicked his target with both feet and dropped to the ground. That’s the definition of a drop kick.

No clue why you think it was not. Almost every news outlet and site is calling it a drop kick. Maybe they could have added flying, but that is pretty much implied.
