Harley-Davidson plant in Kansas City marks last day of production

KANSAS CITY, MO. (KCTV) --- The Harley-Davidson Kansas City plant has had its final day of production. Plant officials confirm the final day of production was Friday, May 24. Harley-Davidson announced in January 2018 that it would close its Kansas City plant. About 800 jobs were lost in Kansas City due to the closure. farming some production to Thailand. You can't keep making what isn't selling. HD is trying to capture the Asian market

Didn't trump go to an HD plant one time when campaigning and tell them he would save their jobs? Or am I confusing two things?
Either way, I hope these employees didn't think he was going to help them in any way. |

13. 800 jobs might not seem huge yet it has a huge impact on the 800 and beyond
Its like crack the whip, 800 people are out of a job, and the secondary effects are much much worse throughout the community.
