Reps. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) and Larry Bucshon (R-Ind.) clashed on Tuesday after Fudge read a constituent letter on the House floor that called Trump supporters "racist" and "dumb."
"Many who support the president's administration are either racists, steeped in religious beliefs, ignorant, or as my mother used to say, just plain dumb," said the letter that Fudge read on the House Floor.
"Remarks and debate may not engage in personalities towards the president, including by repeating remarks made elsewhere that would be improper if spoken in the members own words, said Rep. Marc Veasey (D-Texas) after Fudge's remarks.
Fudge then asked Veasey "What is a personality?" according to a C-SPAN video of the incident.

Honestly, I think we'd be better off if our House debates incorporated the insults and boos that the UK Parliament is known for. Too many Representative essentially speak only to the C-SPAN camera. They should be prepared to respond and defend their remarks from direct criticism.

(46,142 posts)So, the claim that it was engaging in "personalities towards the President" is misplaced. Unless, of course, Veasey is admitting that Trump's supporters and Trump share the same characteristics.

There is absolutely no good excuse on Earth to support this turd of a human being. If you support him, you're either ignorant, hate-filled, corrupt, selfish, racist, or maybe even all of them.
I have family members who support him I'm quite sickened to say and they seem to fall into the ignorant, selfish, and racist categories.
