Fire on Russian submersible kills 14 Russian navy sailors, state media cites Defense Ministry as saying

The fire, which broke out Monday on an underwater vessel in Russia’s northern base in Severomorsk, happened while the crew was conducting biometric measurements, the state-run RIA news agency quoted the Defense Ministry as saying. Fourteen sailors died from smoke inhalation.
