Jeffrey Epstein has been denied bail pending federal sexual abuse charges, U.S. District Judge Richard Berman announced Thursday morning.

Prosecutors labeled Epstein an “extraordinary” flight risk ― he owns several properties and a private plane ― as they urged the judge on Monday to keep him behind bars. Epstein was arrested July 6 on sex trafficking underaged girls and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. He has pleaded not guilty.

He is effectively facing the prospect of NEVER getting out of jail for the rest of his life.

NEVER is a very long time. He might be considering some kind of plea deal at this point - take down some of his powerful buddies for a slightly shorter sentence. He will still be wearing an orange jumpsuit for a while though.

This guy is a huge flight risk and he always will be, until he has no money left and no place to go. Right now he owns jets, villas in other countries, has lots o' cash and several (fake) passports. Also he has many powerful international friends who want to help him get out of prison.

He is NOT going to provide proof against Trump. He would not be rewarded.

Where things may come out is that the various victims may gain credibility and their accounts will name others - possibly including Trump. Once Epstein is convicted and even more is known of his crimes, the charges against the others will gain credibility. THAT might be the way this entire mess becomes public.
