(58,283 posts)In this case, he might be partially right, since Obama intends to campaign hard for the Dem nominee. Plus he and former AG Holder have been working on a project to stop voter suppression.

(6,251 posts)not even my worst enemy. My dog is almost 16 y.o. and has become blind, deaf & mute & helpless.
But I refuse to put her to sleep so long as she is breathing on her own.
Life is precious of all living human beings (and pets) regardless of what they are.
I just want guys like Trump to become irrelevant and out of power so that
we don'y have to hear his pomposity and lies.

(55,143 posts)All that matters is election day. Some media outlets will mollify to try to be their version of fair, they will have a strategy, everyone knows he's morally unfit, but do they see that in his policies? I doubt 15% of the public is aware of what he's doing.
We have work to do, do not become complacent.

(55,171 posts)Bill Maher has been saying the same thing and is correct. We have to be ahead 12 points going into election day just to break even with the GOP candidate due to all the outside influence on the results (Russia, tRump's campaign people, etc.). Never underestimate how crooked and immoral the GOP and their supporters can be since their lives and jobs and wallets depend on this election.

(2,343 posts)I'm worried these polls will make people apathetic. Just ignore them and vote like the fate of the universe is riding on this one election, because it is.
I wonder if I can request a medically induced coma until election day. Then I'll vote. If the election doesn't work out, is Dr. Kevorkian still around?

The margin has to be big enough that the election cannot be stolen.
