'Nuclear device' report evacuates Ohio neighborhood; hazmat, bomb squad respond

Source: Fox 13

A reported “nuclear device” prompted authorities to evacuate a northwestern Columbus, Ohio neighborhood.

Hazmat and bomb squad crews responded around 6 p.m. Thursday to a home in the Cranston and Riverside drives area, Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Steve Martin told our media partner 10TV.com in Columbus.

In a 911 call, a man said he was working on a quantum physics generator in his garage and that he suffered burns, the television station reported. Crews found no signs of radiation on the man who called 911, first responders said.

Hazmat crews were checking the garage, and then bomb squad and an arson team will investigate.

According to firefighters, a man called and reported that he received ‘RF burns’ while building some sort of ‘quantum physics generator’ in a garage. The man used words like ‘particle accelerator,’ ‘alpha rays,’ and ‘radiation’ while describing how he was burned.

Responding paramedics didn’t see any physical signs of burns
.................
Martin said the man was taken to an area hospital for a mental evaluation. He said he expects inducing panic charges to be filed.

Guy couldn't even make up a more convincing scientific name for his silliness.
Also, to this genius: if I flick a salt crystal off my fingers, my hand is now a particle accelerator!

most of the looney cretins now residing in Florida probably originally migrated from Ohio. It's what we do best here in Ohio - supplying the nation with some of the most disturbed individuals imaginable! Hell, one needs to look no further than our 'illustrious' elected (gerrymandered) officials for such validation and led by their standard bearer, Gym Jordan.
