Samsung chairman Lee Sang-hoon jailed for union sabotage

Lee and about 25 other defendants were convicted of violating labour union-related laws.

Prosecutors said Samsung executives had used several tactics to target union activities, including closing sub-contracted firms with active unions.

Samsung has not yet commented on the ruling.

Seoul Central District Court said plans to stop union activities had been masterminded by executives in the firm's now-defunct elite strategy group.

Union busting, wage theft, price fixing, collusion, environmental terrorism, manslaughter due to health care pricing and practices, tax fraud and evasion and a long list of other crimes need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible with felony criminal charges as much as possible.

the workers who formerly would have been in the union and benefiting from being represented vote for the installed president because faux snooze told them to. And then wonder why their lives suck.
