President Donald Trump's fans chanted "forty-six" when his eldest son took the stage at a campaign event in New Hampshire on Monday, showing their support for a potential Donald Trump Jr. presidential campaign.
Trump Jr. appeared beside his father at the packed event in Manchester, New Hampshire last night as the 45th U.S. president boasted about his Senate impeachment trial acquittal in front of supporters holding up signs that read "Promises Kept."
The commander-in-chief also used the New Hampshire rally as an opportunity to mock the Democratic Party and its leadership, telling supporters that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was "mumbling" behind him as he delivered his State of the Union address last week.
Speaking about candidates in the Democratic primary field, President Trump said: "I hear a lot of Republicans tomorrow will vote for the weakest candidate possible of the Democrats, does that make sense?

I never realized that there were this many crazy and uneducated people in this country until Trump started having his rallies. I guess a lot of people truly do not realize what a "republic" is supposed to be...they want a dynasty, no matter how unqualified the successor is. In this case (DJT Jr.), he would be a total slimeball.
I didn't think it could get even more nutso. These people don't even want a democracy, they want a trashy aristocracy. Ergo, they have very few functioning brain cells.

(50,529 posts)In other words, Trump does his two, Don Jr. does 2, Ivanka does 2, Eric does 2, by that time some of Don-John's grandchildren should be old enough to be president...

(1,148 posts)I just can't...I know it sounds sheltered, but I choose to live in an overwhelmingly Democratic area that is ethnically diverse, and I don't even speak to anyone who still supports Trump, so I am utterly unfamiliar with this species at this point. It just blows me away that his base is getting more and more delusional after nearly four years of blatant rubbish!
On a related note, I checked Facebook the other day and there was an argument about Trump in the comments section of a post my brother made. My brother's friend said she was a swing voter who had voted for Bush in '00, but that Trump has to go. One guy responded to every post she made with "you're a radlib commie." To someone who voted for Bush. You can't even be a Republican and oppose him. I am done arguing with these people...how do you argue with nutso cult members?

(1,148 posts)Not only is that grammatically incorrect...it doesn't even make sense! "Again??" To think that someone spent time thinking up that t-shirt, designing it, and then getting it printed...and whoever printed it didn't even bother to correct them, or at least correct the grammar. Then again, I'm not sure I would correct it, either - leave the ignorance on display so it can be documented!

(5,106 posts)Seriously...If he skipped an election, then ran and won the next time, he would count again as 47th. This happened with Grover Cleveland.

(9,944 posts)... most popular 2nd Trump. He usually does the "warm-up" at rallies and he is adored. Trump supporters' love for their crooked leader is almost orgasmic... Don Jr is as beloved. They would vote for him as the 46th President, if they needed to replace #45.

(21,055 posts)He is not that bright and he will lose badly. And by this time next year the MF45 will be like Benedict Arnold. More and more stuff is going to come over this year about MF45 that will weaken jim among his cult members and if the Democratic Party was smart would attack him on his social security, Medicare and Medicaid cuts.
