Sanders defeats Biden in North Dakota
Source: The Hill
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) defeated former Vice President Joe Biden in the North Dakota Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday, prevailing in a state he had also won in 2016.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Sanders received 53 percent of the vote, while Biden got just under 40 percent.
North Dakota awards 14 pledged delegates, tying Wyoming for hosting the smallest nominating race in the continental United States.
Because of this, the win isn't much more than a consolation prize for Sanders, who had an otherwise disappointing night at the polls.

(19,852 posts)of early votes were rendered null and void because the in person caucus goers got to dictate the candidate ordering #1 vs #2 vs #3.
After they had the ordering, then they went to the millions of early votes to slot them in accordingly.
The issue to me was that if I early voted Elizabeth Warren as my #1 choice, but the caucus goers made her #3, then my #1 early vote didn't count.
Unless they put the early votes into the initial candidate ordering, the caucuses need to be disbanded as they are inherently unfair.
