(1,639 posts)You mean like the people who go to casinos to entertain themselves by pissing away money? And of course, while they are in the casinos, their air is cooled and their drinks are chilled, so yeah, casinos are about catering to people.
But many folks associated with casinos do know what hard times are. The people working there who also have to cover living expenses in a community geared towards those who throw money around probably know more about hard times than many of us. And the unfortunate people who throw away money that they need to live on probably experience hard times between every mini-thrill that they get for their efforts at gambling.
Casinos are all about hard times for the many, and catering to those who can who can keep filling up the casinos' coffers whether they can really risk doing so or not.
