Storms Turn Deadly in Mississippi; At Least 300 Homes Damaged or Destroyed in Louisiana

At least three people are dead in Mississippi as severe weather and strong tornadoes moved across the Deep South Sunday evening.

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency confirmed one fatality in Walthall County, about 50 miles west of Hattiesburg, and two fatalities in Lawrence County, about 35 miles to the north.

Tornadoes were reported in both counties. At least five homes were destroyed in Walthall County and other injuries were reported.

Rescue crews were searching homes in Jones County, where damage was reported to multiple homes and commercial buildings. Paul Sheffield, the county's emergency management director, told weather.com in a phone interview that several people were injured, some seriously. Sheffield said four people were unaccounted for.

Photos posted to social media showed severe weather and damage across several other parts of Mississippi, where two long-track tornadoes followed similar paths early Sunday evening.

A few years back I’m living in a state that just passed same sex marriage.
Cue tornado that hits a rural town in that state with a church on every corner.
Cue response from religious idiots on faux claiming that it’s gods revenge on state.

On probably the "one"day that the most prayers are made annually, thanking God for bringing his son back, to give hope, love, for poor, forgotten, sick and elderly, he sends these storms on that same day right through the heart of the Bible Belt. And evilgelicals think cramming churches during a pandemic, they will be spared from the death bug. Damnit Gays, quit gaying, you are getting Jesus people killed. God sent tRump, why is he fucking up his re-election with this stuff? Babies in cages, thousands of missing teen girls, lies, theft, kick sick people, ask elderlies to die for Dow, greed, greed, greed, dissing Gods name to win power, none of that is to blame, right?
