Trump Dings Social Distancing At Air Force Academy Commencement As 'Politically Correct'

It’s also a sound safety precaution, and recommended by his own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

President Donald Trump appeared to take a stealthy swipe at social distancing arrangements at the Air Force Academy commencement Saturday by referring to them as “politically correct.”

Social distancing is also a prudent safety measure that’s recommended by the Trump administration’s own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Trump uses the term “politically correct” to belittle actions that he believes are unnecessary and demanded by progressives. “I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct,” he said during his campaign.

Trump claimed the graduation ceremony, which featured Vice President Mike Pence as the commencement speaker, required 10 feet between people for social distancing. In fact, organizers required at least 6 feet, as recommended by the CDC. Chairs for the 30-minute ceremony were placed 8 feet apart. Family and friends of the 1,000 graduates watched the live-streamed event in Colorado Springs online. Graduates will all be tested for COVID-19 before their postings, according to an Air Force statement.

into an insult. They have done the same thing with the word "liberal." That is why I refuse to call myself a progressive.

What is the opposite of political correctness? Is it permission to use the n-word? To call gay people f-----ts? To call women we don't like the c-word? I could go on, but that would be nauseating.

If someone tells me I am being politically correct, I am going to turn around and say, "Why, thank you. And bless your heart."

But that's harder to paint up as "liberal fascism," and being "socially unacceptable" doesn't have the bad-boy cachet of "politically incorrect."

Bringing politics into a military commencement is just another example of the lack of character of this pitiful excuse for a human being. This is the proudest day of these cadets' lives, and he can't help but air his petty grievances.

What is particularly grotesque is having a demonstrable coward, liar and con man as your commander-in-chief. What must these young men be thinking?

This is madness. The only ways we have to fight "the beast" right now is shut downs, social distancing, staying @ home,
testing and then tracing and now Trump wants to shut down those things.

Mike Mulvaney got bounced from the room, on camera, after coughing in Der Fuhrer's presence:

More recently, Donny brought in a recovered coronavirus victim for a genuinely pathetic PR stunt:

It was followed by a movie, a Broadway show (Jacky Mason) and Maher’s ABC show. In a matter of months. About the same time blondes like Coulter, Crowley et all came to revolt against the liberal tyranny. It turned the table from conservatives being the fudge duddies into them becoming the cool rebels. For the same outdated notions, mind you, but cool. Lots of good people mindlessly adopted it in their language. It has always been “ permission to be an 🍑🕳” just like the 👑🦠 rallies.

In corrugated steel buildings. You either got to set up with your head by the wall or by the walk way. You could kick back during the day (if you had time) however you wanted but rack time was strictly one or the other. No breathing into each other's faces.

No matter what you say, he's got a twist on it that will turn it in his Republicans' favor. This is mind control.

Be resolute, be strong, resist. Do not let them into your soul.
