Dozens of bodies discovered in U-Haul trucks outside Brooklyn funeral home

Source: Marketwatch

Police found dozens of bodies being stored in unrefrigerated trucks outside a Brooklyn funeral home and lying on the facility’s floor Wednesday, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Between 40 to 60 bodies were discovered either stacked up in U-Haul box trucks outside Andrew Cleckley Funeral Services in Flatlands or on the building’s floor, after neighbors reported a foul odor around the property, sources said.

... snip ...

In addition to the two U-Hauls holding corpses, the facility had two more refrigerated trucks also storing bodies and a third box truck of empty caskets, police sources said.

The funeral home told officers that the bodies were supposed to be going to a crematorium but they didn’t come and pick them up, sources told the Post.

The owner of Pemco supplies, a kitchen appliance parts supplier nearby the funeral home, called the situation a “disaster.”

This pandemic has revealed that in some ways human behavior has not evolved much since medieval times.

4. Don't absolve the CDC in that. It's their ridiculous estimates

of flu deaths each year that allow Fox to use that imbecilic argument.

The CDC takes a wild guess every year and reports something like, "Flu deaths this year were somewhere between 16,000 and 60,000." They base their wild guess on the total number of deaths from pneumonia and respiratory illnesses, because they have NO idea how many die of flu in a given year.

They give these ridiculous ranges, knowing the media will report the high number.

As a result, we have this absurdly inflated idea about how many die of flu in a given season.

NOW we are seeing what 60,000 deaths in a single season look like. It's not like anything we have seen since WWI.

it must be said the system is overwhelmed and they don't know what to do. It could have financial elements, such as delayed reimbursements and thin capitalization, or not. Who knows. But yeah, someone should do something about this weeks ago before the odors alerted everyone who had no clue!

... but trDump's reactions to the coming disaster months and weeks before it arrived the gross ineptitude and totally irresponsible behavior to effectively guide and lead America through the pandemic falls directly upon the shoulders of trDump and his joke of an administration.

He does not deserve accolades or a free pass for fucking up the pandemic response as he has done and continues to do.

They were eating pork, lots of pork. From the United States. They love pork.
We took away cheap, safe protein. They went back to the live markets.

which has magnified the number of American deaths. He had weeks to act. He did nothing but deny it was happening. And then he blamed it on Obama.

Here in California, they just shut the power off when the wind kicks up. You know, instead of fixing the problems.

15. Folks think you can just call up for body-rated refrigerated trucks in NYC these days?

"Hello, UHaul? I need two refrigerated trucks."
"Will you be using them for food transport?"
"No, ma'am. We need to park them outside Dyker Glenn Assisted Living for dead body storage."
"Right, right. Well, it looks like we have three body-rated refrigerated trucks on the lot. Can you get down here by 3pm?"

Come on.
