Former Vice President Joe Biden will appear on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Friday morning, where for the first time he will address allegations from a former staffer named Tara Reade who says he sexually assaulted her in 1993.
"Morning Joe" booker Michael Del Moro said the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee would be responding to the allegations during an appearance on the show.
The appearance from his home studio in Wilmington, Del., would allow Biden to deal with the issue in what could be a more favorable setting given the criticisms the shows hosts have regularly launched against President Trump. ..........

(92,061 posts)who knows where else, and the media not always representing the full timeline regarding this,
I think this is necessary:
What will happen? Biden will deny the accusation. His adversaries on the left, right, and perhaps a few who coincidently have Russian descent will say he is lying, and Biden will say he isn't.
Here is a timeline of events, regarding Tara Reades actions toward Joe Biden:
December 1992 August 1993 Tara Reade worked as a Senate aide in Joe Bidens office.
2009 Reade commended Biden for actions he has taken against domestic violence.
2017 Reade repeatedly attacked Putin and Russia on Twitter for election interference and for Russian legislation that legalized domestic violence.
2017 Reade repeatedly praised Joe Biden through tweets, retweets and likes on Twitter. On multiple occasions she boosts him for his work on helping end sexual assault.
2018 Reade claims she liked Russia since she left Washington DC (Over a decade ago), and praised Putin and Russia over and over again. She also directly praised Putin for his treatment of women in multiple articles.
January of 2019 Reade first begins talking about her sexual harassment allegations against Joe Biden on Twitter.
March, 2019 Reade continues to praise Putin.
April, 2019 Reade comes forward with her original allegations against Biden, but says his actions were NOT sexualization, but rather compared his actions toward her as being demeaning and treating her like a pretty lamp that is thrown away when its too bright. She also claimed that her story was not a story about sexual misconduct.
September 2019 Reade calls on Joe Biden to be investigated for his dealings with Ukraine.
January, 2020 Reade continues to praise Vladimir Putin on Twitter.
March, 2020 Reade comes forward again, this time claiming that Joe Biden did sexually assault her in 1993.
March, 2020 Reade tells Vox News that she started liking Putin and Russia in 2018 after watching Noam Chomsky, but no longer likes Putin after finding out about domestic violence in Russia. (note: in 2018 she claimed to have loved Russia since over a decade ago, and in 2017 she was posting tweets on her account related to Russias domestic violence.)

Another example was associating President Obama with Reverend Wrights views. President Obama didn't hesitate for a minute, and immediately came out and condemned Wrights view, and disassociated himself from that church
President Obama set the lesson on this, and what you are saying Lady_Chat is absolutely correct
Thank you!

(6,972 posts)And Kerry has said in several interviews looking back, it was a mistake for him to not address the swiftboating allegations, especially since ALL of them were LIES and could have been disproven real-time.
So yes, yes, yes--I'm happy to have Joe go out there and set the record straight!

(8,614 posts)He should say something like this:
"This person was on my staff for a short period of time back in the early 90's. Her allegations are false. Based on our records she never filed any kind of complaint or ever suggested anything of the sort she is alleging now decades later. I have always been a leader and fierce supporter of protecting woman's right's in the workplace. However this case is not credible and is a false accusation against me. I do not know what her motives are but she should stop peddling this lie."
Exactly. I read an article by a former prosecutor as to why he didn't believe her story. One of the reasons, she was no longer in Joe's employ yet she continued to praise him and his attitude toward women Why would you continue to do that if someone assaulted you? She was under no obligation to do so, she was free to do otherwise if she wanted to. Also, once Joe was chosen as VP, she could have spoken up. A VP is just a heartbeat away from the presidency. So she had not one, but two chances to do that, but didn't. after all this time, she then comes out and says his hand on her shoulder made her "uncomfortable." There's a big difference between that and an actual sexual assault. Now she claims he did sexually assault her. Her story keeps changing and makes no sense.
