Protesters In Michigan Plan 'Operation Haircut' Demonstration Against Stay-At-Home Order
Source: Inquisitr
May 16, 2020 ![]() Members of the Michigan Conservative Coalition are planning a protest called “Operation Haircut” to oppose Michigan’s stay-at-home orders,Fox 2, reported. The group is organizing barbers and hairstylists from all over Michigan to gather at the Capitol building and give free haircuts on the lawn. According to Fox 2, the group got the idea for the protest after hearing that a barber in Owosso, Michigan, had his license revoked for continuing to give haircuts while the stay-at-home order was in place. The barber, Carl Manske, has become a hero to Michiganders who believe the stay-at-home orders are excessive and unjust. Meshawn Maddock, a member of the Michigan Conservative Coalition, spoke to Fox 2 about the protest and the stay-at-home orders. She said the demonstrations that have been happening in Michigan, and the upcoming “Operation Haircut,” are about “our governor overreaching.” She went on to say that the restrictions being imposed by the Michigan government are “tyrannical.” Maddock praised Manske for being “brave enough to risk his license, to stand up to our governor.” She said that when other barbers and hairstylists heard about Manske’s license being revoked, they started talking about what they could do to express their opposition. The idea for “Operation Haircut” came out of these discussions. Read more: https://www.inquisitr.com/6058339/protesters-michigan-operation-haircut-coronavirus/

5. They have a constitutional right to get sick or die
If that is true then health insurance shouldn't be required to pay their hospital bills if they get COVID-19. Just sayin...

We should keep repeating that everywhere to ridicule them. And they need to get rid of those nasty clothes! Either put them in the trash or run them through the washing machine a couple of times!

17. Our Governor has a 72% approval rating. These assholes are getting entirely too much press.
I really hate the media for drawing so much attention to these ignorant fuckheads. Pardon my French, but I'm so over all of them and I guess my vocabulary is insufficient to describe them without using profanities. I get upset when entitled shitheads like these people endanger my life and other innocent people with their selfishness.

19. Wasn't Manske the barber that had the militia patrolling his business to dare
law enforcement to shut him down?
I doubt the state's barbers and beauticians are even a part of this despite what this coalition says. As an aside, yesterday my son and I went to Home Depot's Garden Center. It was my birthday and he wanted to buy me flowering plants to hang outside on the shepherd's hook. I was afraid to go in. But they had beautiful hanging plants curbside. I quickly chose 3 without me leaving the car. He parked the car, walked into the store and purchased garden shears and the plants. We didn't expect to find the parking lot to be full, but surprisingly it was very full. It reminded both of us of Black Friday. It looked like everybody and their brother was shopping! The best thing is: Every person we saw was wearing a mask! I was impressed by that. Not one person was unmasked! Inside the store my son said the same thing: everyone wore a mask! I'm sure there were some who didn't mask up, but we didn't see them. This is Northern Michigan. This proved to me what I already knew: Michiganders are taking this pandemic seriously, and are supportive of Gov. Whitmer. These so-called protesters are protesting for their own nefarious and astroturfed reasons. It has nothing to do with our freedoms. ![]() |

They are realizing that we can buy a clipper and cut our own hair. It's not that hard. And once we realize that, no need to go to a barber ever again.

30. These protests have got "Russia interference" written all over them.
They closely mirror the anti-Hillary protests in 2016 which were initiated by Russian trolls who used Facebook to send out the time and place of the next protest. The Russians have a lot to gain by keeping Trump in office, and they're using the same playbook that worked so well in the last election.
We have been warned by the intelligence agencies that not only did the Russians interfere in 2016, they have continued to attack our electoral system ever since. Moscow Mitch has blocked every attempt to protect our elections -- even the bipartisan bills. Soon we'll begin to see an all out effort to make Fat Donnie the hero of the pandemic. He would have saved everyone -- plus the economy -- if it hadn't been for the Democrats, the Deep State, Obamagate, and the enemy of the people, the fake news media. We make fun of him posting the stirring speech from "Independence Day" with his face superimposed over the president's, but even if they take it down the image of a strong president is still there. The mind cannot tell the difference between reality and fantasy. That's the first rule of using propaganda. |
