Cowboys for Trump leader calls for Democratic leaders to be executed
Source: Santa Fe New Mexican
Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin has again stirred an outcry over his fiery political rhetoric — this time for saying certain Democratic governors should be executed for treason. Griffin, who founded the group Cowboys for Trump, also told the Daily Beast on Tuesday that anti-lockdown protesters might be justified in using violence. During the interview, published Wednesday, Griffin said top Democrats, such as Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, are traitors who deserve the death penalty. Both governors have imposed restrictions to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. “You get to pick your poison: You either go before a firing squad, or you get the end of the rope,” Griffin told the Daily Beast. 2. "fiery political rhetoric"
Ahhh, gotta love the writer of this. Yeah, it is just fiery political rhetoric, not an incitement to violence. Yeah, okay.
Peace |

12. Help me understand something.
WHY do cowboys wear such large hats when their brains are so very small? What kind of a name is Couy? Is it pronounced Coo-ee? Coy? The horse has more "class" and intelligence than this clown does. Was he kicked in the head by a horse in his youth?

of these leaders to be executed?

30. Pretty much what I was thinking.
The problem is that there are some pretty damaged people out there for whom killing someone isn't particularly distasteful who may hear him and think 'Yeah, good idea - after I finish my Fruit Loops I'll go out and shoot Whitmer'.

16. Got kicked in the head once too often
Otero County's claim to fame is the town of Alamogordo and a scar in the desert where the first nuke went off.
It's way down in the southern part of the state, bordering on Texas, which is where I figure this guy gets most of his ideas. In any case, he's pig ignorant enough to fit in there, better than NM. He's also very typical of those "Cowboys," on the downhill side of middle age, paunchy, wears his hat indoors. He's probably going to run against Torres-Small in the next off year Congressional election. It's either that or he'll believe enough of his own bullshit to wind up in jail. He throws a lot of words around that he thinks make him look smart but has no clue what any of them means. He's also scared because the virus is spreading there but his gunz and Jebus will pertect him and he's gonna plug any sissy librul who wears a mask. (I notice he didn't make any threats against Gov. Lujan-Grisham. He knows that would have gotten him a lot more inconvenience than threatening governors in places he's never been did) |

20. This is not "fiery political rhetoric."
This is calling for the death of people who disagree with you, inciting violence against people you don't like. I'm so sick of this fucking shit. I have zero respect for anyone I know who still identifies as republican, and that includes some relatives and long time friends. Fuck 'em. Just GD fuck 'em.

bizzaro world when it comes to such characters. County in the 1990s was going
to mandate that every household had to have a gun. Also home to infamous State Rep Dan Foley although like Griffin he served in another county. |
