SpaceX Nasa Mission: Astronaut capsule docks with space station

Source: BBC News

US astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken have docked with the International Space Station (ISS).

Their Dragon capsule - supplied and operated by the private SpaceX company - edged them into port on the high-flying lab's bow section.

The men will have to wait for leak and pressure checks to be completed before they can disembark and join the Russian and American crew already on the ISS.

Who yesterday was bleating on how nine years ago they couldn't get Congress (and probably Obama) excited about doing space shots again.

Well fucking DUHHHHHH...we were still on the mend in 2011 from what was almost the second great depression brought on by yet another Republican. Yeah so sorry pal that peoples welfare and the housing disaster came before a couple of guys in a can.

Perhaps I missed where Trump took credit for it? Hadn't seen that yet, astonishingly.

I'm not down on Musk like some of you. Living within 5 miles of the Boca Chica SpaceX site, I want everything to succeed brilliantly so we can watch some launches from our back yard.

... about the Star Wars costume that someone made them wear. The cosmonauts will get a great laugh at their expense.

I hope they're prepared.

After that, the dangers of space seem trivial.
