Phoenix "Karen" Slapped Across The Face After Racist Rant

We have a new "Karen" -- this one is in Arizona -- and this time she didn't walk away clean ... instead, she got handled with a slap to the face.This went down Saturday at a Phoenix gas station, where a middle-aged white woman stormed inside demanding to be helped after her pump outside was apparently not working. An argument ensued between her and a younger woman who was being helped at the counter.

While you don't hear it initially, the guy recording says he just heard 'Karen' tell the other woman she needs to go back to her country. She also tells the clerk -- on camera -- not to serve the woman. Eventually, both women got in each other's faces, and after "Karen" got handsy, the other woman slapped her square on the jaw. "Karen" stormed out in a huff.

The overreacting, racist behavior we've seen plenty of lately -- but this outcome was much different. Maybe even ... refreshing? Sure, let's go with that.

BTW, we've reached out to the owners of this convenience store and they tell us this white woman -- who initially ID'd herself as a manager -- is not employed by them, and is no longer welcome at any of their locations nationwide.

This broad not only verbally abuses a young woman who is likely either Hispanic or Native American, she attempts to intimidate the gentleman recording her as he tells her to stop. Then the vieja gets owned. Note: Folks should pause before getting into it with or putting hands on us. It will not be tolerated anymore. Otherwise, you might have a point, I'm not overly fond of the use of "Karen," I've known too many nice ones. However, this stuff goes out of fashion very quickly, it's just shorthand. Besides, some people would be just as offended by "middle aged white woman dressed like a teenager," which is an extremely apt description.

That was a very satisfying pop to the jaw. You have to admit that much.

It was when the racist grabbed her that the young woman (most likely Latina, possibly Native American) turned around and slapped the shit out of her. She was defending herself against physical assault after taking minutes of verbal assault. I would not have had her restraint for that long.

People of Spanish descent were in this country for decades before the first Anglo arrived; Native Americans have been here for thousands of years. That white woman did not know her own history!

22. This was posted late last night

When this incident was first getting reported. It was NOT my title, as I posted it as directed by DU. I am not trying to smear any group.group of people. TMZ was not an ideal source, but it was the only website posting the video at the time. I was not out to offend anyone.

And yes, this story is being more widely reported now. My own 70-year old mother told me about it this morning, saying that she would have done more,likely punching the assailant rather than giving her a slap.

My mom was a Flower Child in the 60's. See what this ugliness is dong to people? I hear her daily, yelling at Bloatus when he comes on TV. She has resorted to changing the channel as soon as he comes on, Thank God.

These days, one must always view what they see with caution. It may have been staged, it may not have been.

The reason I even entertain the idea that it was not staged, is that I have actually seen idiots like that white woman say those exact words. And if it was not a staged confrontation, that white woman got less than she deserved. She actually deserved to be arrested by the cops for assault.

What is alarming about that? If Karen had called the cops, guess which one of the those two women would have been in cuffs on the floor face down in the first minute?

I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count.
