Source: KSNV News
Mayor Pro Tem Michele Fiore will join conservative talk show host Wayne Allyn Root next weekend to take part in a "Blue Lives Matter" march.
According to a flyer posted on Facebook, the event will attempt to become the "biggest pro-police march" in the country and be led by Root.
"We aren't against anyone," the post read. "We're FOR America! And we are showing our love and support FOR our police."

(66,307 posts)You don't put a 'piece of brass' into anyone. A bullet is lead; the casing is brass.
She's been listening to too many losers who don't know what they're talking about...
I noticed that as well! ...What can you say idiots are IDIOTS! I'm so sick of Conservative Christians trying to out "TOUGH TALK" each other especially when it comes to their talk of killing Muslims & immigrants! ...They're such disgusting people!!!

Do I have that right?
If so, she must be planning and throwing the empty cartridges really, really hard!

After target firing on the range in the Army, the call always went out to "police up the brass".

(64,951 posts)I was unclear as to my question.
I recall jacketed rounds are lead, sheathed in copper. Is copper the jacketing metal, is my actual question.
The brass part is pretty obvious, even to a gun novice like me.
You can tell by looking it at it. But, I've never seen a jacketed round.

(66,307 posts)To decrease the risk of lead poisoning if your opponent survives getting shot. It's in the Geneva Convention for the reduction of unnecessary suffering. It sounds weird to people who think war is 'all-killing, all-the-time'. But once your opponent is out of the fight, there should be no more suffering.
Same reason why glass is not permitted as shrapnel in explosives, because it doesn't show up on an x-ray.
