(10,095 posts)Normally there would not be any traveling, but sometimes life's circumstances make it necessary. I'm going to do my best to social distance and to wear masks. Luckily they are not staying with me. May do a backyard dinner with distancing.
Airports have got to be one of the worst places.

(11,292 posts)Keeping things straight was never his strongest subject in school. People routinely come along after him to clean up the mess (story) .. and that's what happened here.
It's still a fairly eye opening story .. and Florida appears to be almost in a freefall. Good luck.

(6,278 posts)They seem to have walked back the claim that it was workers, and they were not randomly testing but contact tracing
Orlando airport executives clarified the numbers Wednesday, clarifying not all 260 people are workers nor were they part of the group of 500 workers tested as referenced by the governor.

(827 posts)The 260 number isnt from the 500 tested. The 500 tested came up with TWO positive results.
The 260 is the total number of cases in the 25,000 or so badged employees with access to the airport, plus all the contact tracing done so far. The badged employees would include all actual airport persons, plus custodial, plus car rental, plus food service.
