Trump Wants to Find, Prosecute Person Who Leaked His Trip to the Bunker: NYT

Source: daily beast

LET IT GO

Published Jun. 17, 2020 5:55PM ET

President Donald Trump has told advisers he wants to find and prosecute the person who leaked the fact he went to the White House bunker as protests escalated in Washington, D.C. earlier this month, according to three sources who spoke to The New York Times. The president later claimed that he had gone into the bunker only for an “inspection,” something he’d done several times before. Attorney General William Barr contradicted that statement on June 8, stating that the Secret Service took Trump into the bunker because of “violent demonstrations” outside the White House.

The Times reports that advisers have warned Trump that his divisive behavior could lead to a November election defeat. However, according to people close to the him, he seems unwilling to alter his behavior and is unexcited about the prospect of four more years in power. He’s ready to point the blame if he loses, the Times reports, to the coronavirus pandemic and to Democrats “stealing” the election from him.

Personally, I think the best outcome is if he goes crazy before election day, just without much in the way of detrimental consequences.

Also possible is, like in this article, the hissy fit is so preposterous and over the top as to be laughable. Laughing him out of office would be just rewards.

Corona pandemic is now beyond his control. I doubt he could get ahead of it with an instantaneous nationwide lockdown and curfew which he doesn't believe in anyway.

The economic fallout is also fearsome. Red ink, inflation, stock outs, job losses of unknown duration and permanence.

There are gurus on YouTube who believe Corona was deliberate cover for a Fed takeover of the world, and Trump has been a pawn all along. But to me a lot of pieces don't fit there.

If Donald turned out to be a competent puppet he would have had a whole wish list of Russian demands fulfilled, but since Donald turned out to be a completely incompetent buffoon Putin has instead a USA in shambles, divided and losing power both economically and on the world stage.

Now the oligarchs who want their money back; well, that might be a different story.

Imagine how the rest of us feel. "Unexcited" doesn't even scratch the f**king surface.

If it weren't for all the crimes, he could just spend his remaining years golfing. Instead he'll spend his remaining years in court, then probably jail. Not to mention Pooty ain't going to let him off that easy.
It's the ultimate irony: We don't want him and he doesn't want the job. Yet he has no choice.

Being mean and vengeful, to his stunted brain, seems like strength.

I cannot wait for him and his stain to be regulated to history.
