It's Going Away': Trump Plays Down Coronavirus At Arizona Rally As Cases Surge In The State

Source: Forbes

“It’s going away,” Trump said of the virus, which he referred to as “the plague.”

Trump stressed the need to reopen the country and end lockdown measures put in place to mitigate the spread of the virus, which is still on the rise in 26 states, including a considerable surge in Arizona.

“People get sick from the other. Not just the virus. People get sick from all of the other things that happen. You know what I mean,” Trump said, declaring, “we gotta open up!”

Ticking off nicknames for the virus, Trump referred to it as “Wuhan virus,” “Chinese flu” and “kung flu” to raucous applause, the latter of which has been criticized as racist, including by White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway who referred to it as “very offensive” in March.

AZ has tested 600k roughly.
60,000 cases. A positivity rate of 10.
Illinois is 9, but the rate has been falling for 4 weeks.
Looking at Worldometer graphs, cases in AZ is forming an upward curve rapidly, but total tests is a straight line.
AZ is 10 & rising, IL is 9 & going down.
Looks like AZ is going to have quite the nasty peak.

We just set the daily new case record for all countries. Brazil set it last week, and we just surpassed it.

It's not going away. It's getting so much worse. He pretends to be a prophet, but he's a huckster who will see so much death before the election that he will be infamous as the greatest criminal of all time.
