House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Sunday said that it’s “definitely long overdue” for a federal mandate on wearing masks as coronavirus cases spike in several states during an interview on ABC News.

After acknowledging that the Centers for Disease Control recommended the use of masks because it didn’t want to “offend the President,” Pelosi proceeded to tear into President Trump.

“And the President should be example,” Pelosi said. “You know, real men wear masks. Be an example to the country and wear the mask, not only to pro — it’s not about protecting yourself. It’s about protecting others and their families.”

According to the CDC, everyone “should wear a cloth face cover when they have to go out in public” to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus............................................

Trade?

Taxation?

That whole 'enumerated' and 'implied' powers business ... So limiting.

....ALL the time unless they're speaking.

Calling them out publicly like they did last week isn't enough. They should be ignored and not be recognized if they're going to be so disrespectful to their colleagues.

for 3 weeks to stop the spread. Then mandatory masks after that, until there's a vaccine. It has to be full, nationwide participation for this to get under control. IF it turns out there's never a vaccine, as in the case of the common cold, at least we'll have learned more about the virus and have learned what treatments work to save lives.

Gives time for the various incubation theories.

Is it 2-4 days, 2-3 weeks, 4 weeks?

Hopefully a 2 month lockdown would be the answer.

He cautioned that if Americans "act irresponsibly, if we don't socially distance, if we don't use [i]face coverings in settings where we can't social distance, if we don't practice appropriate personal hygiene, we're going to see spread of disease."

He cannot say the word "mask." It would be funny if it weren't so appalling.

If women started wearing tee-shirts with that message maybe more of the "macho-men" who refuse to would start. Then again, those assholes would probably be bothering the women all the time, and we wouldn't want that. Women have it tough enough with jerks already out there without advertising.

Finally some places here are requiring masks so the asses put them in in a way that doesn’t do any good. For example covering the mouth but not the nose.
