Trump reveals results from alleged cognitive test 04:12
Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that he recently "aced" a cognitive test, his latest attempt to dismiss questions about his mental capabilities and attempt to call into question those of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Trump said he took the test at Walter Reed Medical Center but did not provide additional information about the test. He took a cognitive test there in 2018 after requesting one, his physician at the time told reporters, adding that he did not believe such tests were standard for presidents to take. It is not clear whether Trump was referring to this test or a more recent one.
"I proved I was all there because I aced it. I aced the test," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity, saying he took the cognitive test "very recently."
The President described it as a "very standard test" he took at Walter Reed in front of doctors, who he claimed were "very surprised" by his "unbelievable" results....................................

(16,616 posts)simple this test is. It would make a great ad, in fact.
You draw the face of a clock to a particular time, like "quarter to eleven."
You have to be able to differentiate between animal shapes, like tell the difference between a giraffe and a rhinoceros.
You have to recall and repeat a few words or numbers: "Refrigerator. Bed. Radio. Swimming pool."
Biden would laugh his way through it in a minute or two, and the entire world could see what Trump is bragging about 'acing.'

(43,146 posts)Unaware. When they tell you it's fine and you don't know enough to realize why they're giving you the test .... next step is day care for "a day at work" because the others "need your help".
Shhhhhh! Don't tell anybody. Mum's the word!

Portable MRI machines are in a trailer the size of a city bus, one of those pulling up behind the WH, well photos of that would be around the globe in a half hour.
Trump went in field over T-Day, and he publicly commented about only eating mashed potatoes

And I had some mashed potatoes and I had a bite of mashed potatoes, and I never got to the turkey, because Gen. [Mark] Milley said come on over, sir, lets take some pictures. I never got to my turkey. Its the first time at Thanksgiving that Ive never had anything called turkey.

enough clues to make me think hard that he suffered a significant neurological change that Saturday afternoon, that the in WH doctor was concerned enough to ship Trump to Walter Reed, get the unavailable in WH, but needed advanced imaging studies done.
Post stroke, among other conditions, the patient will be on a soft foods diet until cleared by a Speech Pathologist.
I think he had a minor stroke in November. With his direct family history of Alzheimer's and his obvious cognitive deficits, he blurted out that Med Staff is checking on him.

(13,593 posts)It's a standard test for older people and those who may have induced impairment, like a stroke.
You are told a few words (usually 3 - 5) and asked to remember them.
You draw a clock face and show where the hands go for a specific time, like 9:30
You can accurately answer a few simple questions like "Who is the president?" "What day of the week is it?"
You are asked what the few words were that you were told at the beginning.
If you can do that, YOU ACED IT!!!1111!!1
If he started bragging about it around the doctors, that alone would warrant a notation on his chart.
I was there when my mother was subjected to this, no she didn't pass but heck she was in her 90's.
