White House portraits of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush moved from prominent space to rarely used

Source: CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN)The official portraits of former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were removed from the Grand Foyer of the White House within the last week, aides told CNN, and replaced by those of two Republican presidents who served more than a century ago.

White House tradition calls for portraits of the most recent American presidents to be given the most prominent placement, in the entrance of the executive mansion, visible to guests during official events.

That was the case through at least July 8, when President Donald Trump welcomed Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The two stood in the Cross Hall of the White House and made remarks, with the portraits of Clinton and Bush essentially looking on as they had been throughout Trump's first term.

But in the days after after that, the Clinton and Bush portraits were moved into the Old Family Dining Room, a small, rarely used room that is not seen by most visitors.

As soon as Trump is out, there will be nothing in the White House to remind us that he was ever there... A total failure, embarrassment and stain on our country.

Trump is a petty, nasty, cruel, vindictive little man. Emotional development of a two-year old. His immaturity level is matched only by his narcissism. He just showed how tacky and unpresidential he is . That is something a spoiled child would do . He knows he can't hold a candle to most of them

Instead of working, he is rearranging portraits.

I take that back, he's spinning around like the Tasmanian Devil cartoon character and leaving a path of destruction now. It's just one thing after another.

At this rate, we will be in a different country by the time of the election. Yikes!

Is he going to move the White House to Tulsa next?

For the first time, the sitting president did not invite the previous president back to the White House for a ceremony revealing the official portrait:

In a Sign of a Divided America, President Trump Will Not Unveil Barack Obama’s New Portrait in the White House Anytime Soon
For the first time in decades, the former and sitting presidents will not meet for the debut of the official artwork.

Don Trump's emotional maturity was stunted in his formative years. I am convinced that Trump's descent began at the WH Press corp dinner when Obama exposed and humiliated him in front of a national audience. He never recovered from that and he is living in his own made up hell. He did it to himself. Probably had no choice, his creditor demanded the terms of the agreement be met.

but there is only one real location for Trump's portrait: painted on the inside of the toilet bowl in the White House guest bathroom. You could charge $1 to let people use the bathroom. You'd make a fortune, which would go into a fund to clean the Trump taint out of the White House.
