Nancy Pelosi warns Trump: 'He'll be leaving' whether he likes it or not
Source: New York Daily News
Keep those bags packed, Don!
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) hit back at President Trump, warning him that he will have no choice but to leave office if American voters send him packing in November.
The fact is: Whether he knows it yet or not, he will be leaving, the powerful Democratic leader warned Trump.
Pelosi was responding to Trumps explosive suggestion on Sunday that he would have to wait and see how the vote goes before committing to accepting the results.

(9,003 posts)is what she said this morning on Morning Joe. She got in several great jabs at Trump, many Trump probably won't understand and will have to have explained to him, stable genius that he is.
I felt better after watching Nancy on Morning Joe this morning.

(1,549 posts)... are there specific contingency plans?
I fear some sort of score settling by Trump during the lame duck period.

(3,818 posts)then he will be treated as exterminator treats a pest. The place will be fumigated as soon as that happens. The Inauguration (or I guess the swearing in) can happen behind closed doors with or without his "permission." Then Joe is in charge of the Federal Police (did y'all know he have a Federal Police Force?? Me either.)
Democracy will move on/in, in spite of him. She said actually the Swearing In and Inauguration was the easy part, the COVID and School openings, and the Economy are the hard part. Those are the issues that are motivating the Democratic part of Congress right now.
I still don't get why "getting back to work" is the very first thing some people mention about getting COVID under control. Drumpf says it, everyone else does too. (I'm much more colorful about it in private.)
When have corporations EVER been our "friend?" Why is it "everyone" seems to be jumping into lock step with the CEO's? Why are we making billionaires even more richer by following their opening plans? Main Street, which employees more people are the very one's who don't have lobbyists and lawyers on payroll to help them get the funds that are due them, with Mnuchin acting as if he is doing Main St a favor by even answering a phone call from Nancy about when is he going to release the funds that were held back from March/April?
This whole situation is FUBAR. (See, you can learn things from Mad Magazine. They used the term all the time in the 1960's.)
