Whistleblower files complaint about Pompeo's 'questionable activities'

Source: ABC News

A newly released whistleblower complaint from a State Department employee alleges "questionable activities" by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and efforts by senior department leadership to block questions about it and to order staff to continue the unnamed activities.

The complaint is heavily redacted, with few details on the allegations, but it is the latest indication that there are internal concerns about the top U.S. diplomat's behavior, two months after he had the department's inspector general fired.

Pompeo has dismissed similar reports before, blasting questions about his involvement in politics before a trip to Iowa last week, where he met with social conservative leaders and local politicians in the key battleground state.

According to the complaint, the whistleblower said they "directly" observed the activity, along with other staffers who "tried on several occasions to obtain clarifications and guidance from senior leadership in S/ES (the secretary's executive secretariat) and from the Office of Legal Advisors, but were blocked from doing so."

and never faces a single consequence for his actions. (I finished the sentence).

Accountability is a thing of the past. Do anything you want, claim anything you want without evidence.

Lie about everything, without a single consequence.

Fuck over any one you want if you have the power to do so. Lie about it afterwards. Make huge amounts of money from anyone you can, mostly taxpayers.

Sounds like a good form of governance.

That is where we are.

Is this acceptable to anyone on The Democratic Underground?

Yeah, I didn't fucking think so.

taxpayer-funded dinners at the State Dept.? No consequences for those, either. He is stockpiling donations ready for his run at the WH in 2024. Right now, he is in training, taking notes on how to screw the country over for his own enrichment. The entire group should be behind bars.
