Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf spun his unidentified federal agents’ random detainment of nonviolent anti-police brutality protesters in Portland, Oregon as some kind of pre-crime measure on Tuesday night.

“Because we don’t have that local support, that local law enforcement support, we are having to go out and proactively arrest individuals,” Wolf said during an interview on Fox News. “And we need to do that because we need to hold them accountable.”

He derided the “ridiculous” notion that federal law enforcement shouldn’t take over a city without local leaders’ permission.

“You need to hold individuals accountable, and when we don’t do that, I think we get what we see in Portland today,” the Trump administration official said.

It's about a group of genetically modified people who live in an altered state that allows them to predict real events in the furture. If 2 of 3 agree that a specific person was likely to commit a crime, that person could be tried for that crime based only on their testimony.

I can't believe a federal judge couldn't issue a restraining order, if only to rule that federal forces must be in uniforms that identify their agency, identity, and team leader. They should also be transferred under state governor control if used for riot control.

This could easily still allow federal aagencies to operate on drug interdictions, immigration issues, human trafficing, etc.

But it would remove the "secret" part of the force, and bring them under state control as required by posse comatades.

These groups need to be identified as federal troops, not leo's. There are likely blackwater contractors and para military groups running around pretending to be fed's. How would any state know?

First off, what Wolf describes is commonly called preventive detention and that has been determined by the courts to be illegal. And you don't arrest people for crimes you think they might commit, especially based on profiling. Lastly, Wolf's actions have only reignited the protest movement against excessive use of force by law enforcement - something that was wholly predictable and predicted.

Lastly what Wolf is doing is beyond the charter of DHS making it unauthorized. And the breach is not of a technical nature. It is blatant and criminal. He is not above the law. Lock him up!
