Facebook investigates misleading Trump post using Ukraine photo
Source: BBC
Facebook is investigating a post by Donald Trump's official Facebook account that purports to show violence in the US but is in fact of an event in another country.
The advert shows one image of Mr Trump in a calm setting talking to police officers and another of a security official being surrounded by protesters, saying: "Public safety vs chaos and violence".
However, the image is a photo from a pro-democracy protest in Ukraine in 2014.

The old photo in the advert was picked up by a former Hillary Clinton staffer Jesse Lehrich in tweet that has been widely shared.

The courts need to be all over the secret police spreading out in "Democrat" cities, not next year but in the next month or two.
Oh and the Pig's base are loving this.

(3,166 posts)I've seen a Trump ad a couple of times that talks about "defunding the police" and says something like "And Joe Biden supports this."
Cut to a clip of Biden saying "Yes, absolutely." Completely out of context - we don't know what Biden was talking about.
I hate shit like that.
