Trump Now Says He'll Accept Nomination In North Carolina

Source: Poiitical Wire

President Trump told WRAL that he will accept the Republican nomination in North Carolina as initially planned, marking a reversal after he attempted to move portions of the party’s convention out of the state.

Said Trump: “I’ll be in North Carolina, and that’s a very big deal because we have a lot of the delegates there and that’ll be a nomination process. And that’s essentially where the nomination, where it’s formalized. And I’m really honored to do it in North Carolina.

that's what got him to where he is today, and that's is what he will continue to do.

He can yank media coverage by constantly maneuvering things, and media coverage is highly important to him.

And gaming the system will not only get him all the coverage he wants, but will also do things he finds attractive to his bottom line, like constantly delaying judicial actions against him by contesting everything, extending proceedings by years. The lawsuit against his "university" is a prime example, which he settled more than a decade after it was founded. And we probably will never see his tax returns while he is alive.

It makes me ill.

But given that the pandemic is no where near being under control, wouldn't it be wise (and wouldn't it also set a good example) to stay in the White House?

(Being there might actually make it look like you're getting some work done.)

Isn't that what a leader would do?

So where is he going to hold it, and with what money? The gop is tapped out. They couldn't cough up enough to hold the event in jacks, which likely cost them additional millions on contracts.

Who in their right mind would sign a new contract with these bozo's?
