House Judiciary chair involved in car accident this morning, delaying Barr hearing

NEWS: Jerry Nadler was involved in a car accident this morning on his way to Washington, a Nadler spokesman said.
Nadler was not driving and was not hurt in the accident, the spox said. But the start of today's hearing with AG Barr is delayed as a result.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler was involved in a car accident this morning on his way down to Washington for todays Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr, a Nadler spokesperson said.
Nadler, who was not driving, was not hurt in the accident, the spokesperson said. But the accident, which did not involve another vehicle, has delayed Nadlers arrival and the hearing this morning will be delayed as a result.
The hearing is now scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. ET, the spokesman said. It was originally scheduled to start at 10 a.m. ET.

When I read this I was kind of hoping that someone else would be able to chair the hearing. I like Nadler, it just seems that he lets the repubs get under his skin. It is a difficult position to be in, he has to be fair (or we would be as bad as them), but they do seem to walk all over him.
