A woman in Palm Beach County, Florida allegedly slapped a child and called him a racial slur. Haley Erin Zager, 30, was arrested on Saturday, records show.

Boca Raton police say the incident happened at a Boomers entertainment center. The facility specializes in arcades, mini golf and the like, but what we’re talking about now is go-karts. A manager at the business told cops he tried to defuse an argument in the parking lot between Zager and a person, whose name was redacted in the arrest report obtained by Law&Crime. (The names of at least two people, including the child, was redacted in the documents.)

In this account, the manger said he was told by other staffers that there was an accidental collision between the defendant and the victim. Zager allegedly stepped out of her go-kart, walked up to another g0-kart, and slapped the driver in the face, according to this story.

The defendant allegedly told police that other vehicle rammed hers from behind at full speed; she got upset after the other driver didn’t apologize, and then she “tapped” him in the face.

Three Boomers employees witnessed Zager stepping out of her go-kart on the track and smacking the boy, the report says.

Zager told police she was stopped at the end of the race when a car rear-ended her “at full speed.” She said when the child driving the car didn’t apologize, she “tapped” him in the face, according to the report.

When Zager recounted the story to police, she stated that she shouldn’t have hit a child. But after the incident, she did not show the same remorse when she said to an employee: “that f------ n----- hit me in the back,” the report says.

The boy’s father told police another car had rammed into a row of carts, causing a chain of collisions that sent the boy’s cart into Zager’s. Another boy said Zager stepped out of the cart, slapped the boy with an open palm and told a bystander “The n----- hit me. The n----- hit me,” the report says.

The officer found a metal Altoids tin full of various pills stuffed in her underwear and charged her with four counts of drug possession for the prescription pills, the report said. Kiss your future goodbye.

Paramedics tended to the child, whose left side of his face was swollen from Zager’s slap. She was arrested for child abuse. During a search from a female officer, Zager was also found to be in possession of several prescription pills. After authorities discovered them in her underwear, they also charged Zager with four counts of drug possession.

This is not the first time Zager has faced felony charges. The SunSentinel reports that the Florida woman has another aggravated domestic battery case on her record, stemming from a 2018 incident. 15. We race karts all the time

Before the virus we would race karts in Orlando every weekend for 8-10 hours, only breaking for meals. At the end of every race the younger kids forget to break and slam into the line. The employees are always yelling at them to break. But it happens hundreds of times per day. Its part of the deal. At worst a few adults give a kid a dirty look.
