A leading opposition figure in Belarus was snatched off the street by unidentified masked men and bundled into a minivan on Monday, according to her campaign. Maria Kolesnikova was one of three women who joined forces to challenge the incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko in last month’s disputed election. Kolesnikova is the only one of the three campaign partners who hasn’t fled Belarus. On Monday, her campaign team said she was seized and bundled into a minivan which was marked “Communications.” Police in the capital city of Minsk have not yet commented on the reports. The detention came a day after hundreds of people were arrested following a fourth consecutive weekend of protests against Lukashenko. ..........................

14. That was testing the waters. Now assessing blowback or support. Yes, there is that as well as

condemnation. There needs to be investigations leading to prosecution of these instances of illegal arrests and detainment by un-identified Fed agents (no insignia or markings) and unmarked vehicles. According to protesters who witnessed the abductions, it appears the kidnapping events are conducted by members of OUR Fed government (ICE, Border Patrol, Homeland "Security" and other agencies). This is a concerted effort of recruitment and authorization (ie. directed by persons who are committing felonies). If left unaccountable, as it would appear they are, this fascist shit will increase. Democracy is under direct assault by this Administration.
