Trump campaign adviser argues campaign is 'well positioned' to flip blue states

Less than two months away from a presidential election that most experts predict will be determined by President Donald Trump's ability to defend the 2016 electoral map, one of Trump's top advisers argued Sunday that the campaign is actually poised to go on the offensive.

After a rally in northern Nevada Saturday, and ahead of another outside Las Vegas on Sunday, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller claimed on ABC's "This Week" that their numbers show the president leading the Silver State.

"Over 20% of the people who are at (Saturday's) event didn't even vote in 2016," Miller said. "That's why our internal numbers show us actually winning Nevada. We're very well positioned. It's another blue state we're going to flip this year."

Trump continues to trail Democratic nominee Joe Biden in nearly every national poll of the race and ABC News partner FiveThirtyEight's forecast shows the former vice president winning three out of every four simulations of the election -- a proportion that has remained relatively consistent throughout the summer.

Not unless we have massive fraud and or Russian interference Trump is going to lose
and lose in a landslide. Since the 2016 election Trump has not expanded his base one
bit and he is now losing some of that base* bit by bit and everyday too. The idea that
states that went blue in 2016 will flip red in 2020 is pure bullshit. And it is said just
to piss people like us off.

* Trump's comments about the troops who gave their lives for America being suckers
and losers and his admission on tape to Bob Woodward that he knew how bad the C-19
pandemic was going to be but lied about it has now shown some real decline to Trump's
base.

BTW Trump has a 25% base that will never leave him.

Minden NV has a population of 3000 people. It’s part of rural Nevada. That is where his supporters are mostly found. Currently there are 101,000 Dems, 102,000 Rep, and 63,000 non-partisan in our county (Washoe). It’s going to be an interesting race.
VEGAS has about 150,000 more Dems than Rep, so they may carry us through to keep Nevada blue..

We need to stop spreading their privileging of Trump's hype in headlines.
And stop watching them, for that matter.
Sunday shows are doubt and horse race talk shows to prop this lopsided race.
