Trump Blames 'Blue States' for Virus Deaths

Source: Political Wire

President Trump blamed “blue states” for increasing the nation’s death from coronavirus, suggesting that if “you take the blue states out” of the equation the United States would be far more competitive with other countries, USA Today reports.

Said Trump: “If you take the blue states out, we’re at at a level that I don’t think anybody in the world would be at. We’re really at a very low level but some of the states — they were blue states, and blue-state management.”

So like with China, New York, Washington and California let it in to the red states. Or something like that. What if the secretly got the virus from China and intentionally let it out? I'm half surprised the Quackpots aren't already on that one.

the first 2-3 months (New York is the big port of entry for international travelers, and New Jersey as a bordering neighbor), but since then it's been southern states and the plain states (which are all red) as far as highest daily averages per capita.

And what matters is per capita as far as where you want to be as far as riskiness.

I suppose one can go here and maybe paste it to a spreadsheet...

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Where the new cases are highest is here:
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-us-cases.html

Top 20 states in per-capita new cases 7 day moving average are all Trump states.

Sure New York and New Jersey have more that 49,000 deaths, but the overwhelming majority of those deaths occurred in the first 3 months. Since then it has been a national catastrophe.
Almost all those deaths in the 4 southern states mentioned above happened after the initial disaster on the east coast. And it's now everywhere.
Doesn't this shithead president realize that there are 32 states with over 1000 deaths?
It's not a red state/blue state thing, it's a nationwide thing.

This is a national catastrophe that Trump deliberately created by his denial and inaction.

On March 13th, Trump said, "I don't take responsibility at all."

And yet, he is most definitely responsible.

the pandemic, and he thought, "I'll just let it go and Dems will take the blame." And then it began to hit red states, and rural areas. But he is a one-trick pony. Like all Republican pols. Cut taxes! What about the emails? Benghazi! It's the blue states!

Dont waste your time with counter arguments. While everyone is trying to argue what kind of shovel it was, its merits and if it was used properly he just dumps it for a new one tomorrow and takes another swing.

He don't care, words and thoughts are just handy weapons to him, disposable, knowing by the time the opponent's response is up he's finding a new shovel.

Take all the blue States "out"?? There is NO red or blue State except in the ridiculously outdated nonsense called the Electoral College.

Since IQ 45 wants to ignore population then Hawaii has had only 100 deaths, Texas over 14,000.

That would really push the numbers down.

Of cities over 250,000

52 Liberal
8 Neutral
10 Conservative

Write off all the liberal, lean liberal, or neutral cities, and here is what you're left with:

Mesa, NA
Oklahoma, OK
Virginia Beach, VA
Colorado Springs, CO
Jacksonville, FL
Arlington, TX
Anaheim, CA
Omaha, NE
Tulsa, AZ
Aurora, CO
